Offering tranquil self catering country cottages, rustic self catering rooms and bed & breakfast accommodation in the main farmhouse, Apricot Hill is an affordable farmstay for wedding guests to the Muldersdrift venues – for conference delegates and business people – or just for a breakaway from the City for a weekend of leafy green gardens, the call of hunting jackal at dusk and the soft “Hooo-o” of our resident Eagle Owl.
Surrounded by the myriad venues of the Crocodile Ramble and bordering the Magalies Meander, Apricot Hill offers access to a host of activities nearby – from arts and crafts to buggy racing, gourmet restaurants to game reserves, caves, trout fishing, paragliding and hot air ballooning. Just a quick hop to the new Interpretation Centre at Sterkfontein Caves (and soon to our new Casino!) and a lazy half-hour meander through private game farms to Hartbeespoort Dam with its craft markets, watersports and evening cruises. With cheese farms down country lanes and whitewater rafting down the Crocodile River, abseiling down Bat Cave and renowned potters just down the road, Apricot Hill is the perfect venue for the artistic and the adventurous.
THE COTTAGESJust a few one- and two-bedroom country cottages scattered amongst the Elephant Ears and Sweet Thorn trees, with private barbeques and access to the pool and tennis court – the perfect weekend breakaway! Minimum weekend stay is 2 nights.
THE CLOISTERSThree rustic, self catering rooms away from the main accommodation – quiet, private and with a glorious view of a truly African sunset.
THE FARMHOUSEFour cosy guest rooms, two with their own private garden access, and a choice of double or twin beds. Right by the Jacuzzi, the massage chair and the stunning aroma of morning coffee and muffins!
Please Note: The Jacuzzi in the farmhouse is available for guests and should be prebooked the day before. Please check costs when booking.
