Owner Katja Berker, lovingly collected African crafts during her time as a journalist in Southern Africa which is visible throughout the lodge. The main house and all Suites are stylishly decorated with an eye for detail and some tongue in cheek fusion of colonial and African chic. The romantic garden Jacuzzi is highly popular amongst our regular customers and the seven garden suites all have their own veranda with a view over parts of the 2.6 hectare garden. Some of of them have an open plan kitchen, fire places and reading corner. All of them have an en-suite bathroom, some with their own courtyard, all with TV, mini bars and coffee and tea facilities. Kilulu Lodge is situated near Lanseria Airport, and the well-known Ruimsig and Eagles Canyon Golf courses and in walking distance of Monash University. The area is ideal to explore numerous nearby places of interest like The Dome, The Cradle of Humankind, The Lion Park, Botanical Gardens and Rhino Park.
